Food Chains and Food Webs

๐ŸงชLab Brief #4

Ecosystems.

๐ŸŽฏ Your mission

Understand the idea. Then look for it everywhere.

Living things break the rules of non-living things โ€” find the rule they break.

Mind = Blown

๐Ÿฆ  You have more bacterial cells in your body than human cells.

๐Ÿ”ฎ

Make a hypothesis first

Predict: what will happen to the plant if you change the water?

What You'll Learn

Food webs show the complex feeding relationships in an ecosystem. Unlike a simple food chain, a food web shows that most organisms eat more than one type of food.

Key Words

  • producer
  • consumer
