Metals are generally shiny, conduct heat and electricity, and can be bent without breaking. Nonmetals are often dull, poor conductors, and brittle in solid form.

Create a density column: carefully layer honey, dish soap, water, vegetable oil, and rubbing alcohol in a tall glass. Drop small objects in to test where they float.

Draw a detailed diagram of what you observe.

Write a conclusion: what did your results show? Did they match your prediction?
