We see messages everywhere: on TV, online, and in ads. Some messages try to inform us. Some try to persuade us to buy something or think a certain way. It is important to ask: Who made this? What do they want? Is this fact or opinion? Thinking about these questions helps us decide what to believe and what to ignore.
