The government structure is how a country organizes its leadership and laws. In the United States, the government is divided into three main parts: the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches. The Legislative branch makes the laws, the Executive branch enforces those laws, and the Judicial branch interprets the laws to make sure they are fair. For example, Congress is part of the Legislative branch, and it includes the Senate and the House of Representatives. This system helps keep the government balanced, so no one part has too much power.
