Matter can change between three main states: solid, liquid, and gas. These changes happen when temperature or pressure changes. For example, when you heat ice, it melts and becomes water, a liquid. If you keep heating the water, it can turn into steam, which is a gas. On the other hand, if you cool steam, it can condense back into water. These changes are called melting, boiling, and condensation. Understanding how matter changes helps us in everyday life, like cooking or even making ice cream!
