Inherited traits are characteristics that you get from your parents. These can include things like the color of your eyes, your hair type, or even how tall you are. Each parent passes down genes, which are tiny parts of your DNA that hold information about these traits. For example, if your mom has brown eyes and your dad has blue eyes, you might have brown or blue eyes too, or even a mix of both!
