Multi-step problems are math questions that require you to solve more than one step to find the answer. For example, if you have 10 apples and you give away 3, then buy 5 more, how many apples do you have now? First, you subtract 3 from 10, which gives you 7 apples. Then, you add 5, so 7 plus 5 equals 12 apples. By breaking the problem into steps, it becomes easier to solve!
