Weather tools help us understand what the weather will be like. A thermometer measures the temperature, telling us if it's hot or cold outside. A rain gauge collects rainwater to show how much rain has fallen. For example, if the rain gauge shows 2 inches of rain, we know it rained a lot! These tools help people plan their day and stay safe during bad weather.
