Repeated addition is a way to add the same number many times. Instead of saying 4 + 4 + 4, you can say 4 added together 3 times, which is 4 x 3. This means you have three groups of 4. If you have 3 bags with 4 apples in each bag, you can find the total number of apples by using repeated addition. So, 4 + 4 + 4 equals 12 apples in total!
