Cave Paintings: The First Artists (Part 2)

Crumple brown paper to create a textured 'cave wall' surface.

Using charcoal and earth-toned pastels (brown, red, yellow), draw simple animal shapes: bison, horses, deer.

Outline animals with charcoal. Fill with brown and ochre, blending with your fingers.

Add handprint stencils: place your hand on the paper and spray or stipple paint around it.
