Monoprint With Finger Drawing (Part 4)

Roll a thin, even layer of water-based printing ink onto a smooth plate (acrylic sheet or tray).

Use your finger, a cotton swab, or a wooden stick to draw into the ink. Remove ink to create your image.

Lay paper on top of the plate and press evenly. Peel it off to see your monoprint.

Try again—each print will be slightly different. Experiment with different tools and line qualities.
