Dot Painting Inspired by Aboriginal Art

Draw a simple outline of an animal (lizard, turtle, snake) in the center of your paper.

Use the eraser end of a pencil or a cotton swab dipped in paint to fill the outline with dots in one color.

Surround the animal with rings of dots in contrasting colors: earth tones like ochre, white, black, and red.

Fill the background with dot patterns. Each dot should be even and spaced consistently.
