Clay Pinch Pot (Part 2)

Roll a ball of clay about the size of a tennis ball. It should be smooth with no cracks.

Press your thumb into the center of the ball, leaving about half an inch of clay at the bottom.

Pinch and rotate: squeeze the walls between your thumb and fingers, turning the pot slowly as you go.

Even out the rim by pressing gently. Smooth any cracks with a damp finger.

Let it dry slowly, then paint or glaze if desired.
